Since Hello Gorgeous! flung open its doors to a breathless public, Justine has really made her mark.
The Thorpe Bay salon is now guaranteed precious metal in the prestigious Professional Beauty Awards 2007 being held at Excel in London. The best bijou beauty salon is a national award and Justine and her team are justifiably ecstatic at being recognized for their work not least that it was largely the votes of many of her appreciate clients that got her Hello Gorgeous! into the finals in the first place.
Hello Gorgeous! is unabashedly unisex. About 12% (and rising) of clients are men who are increasingly taking greater care over their appearance.
The Haute Couture Yon Ka range is exclusive to hello Gorgeous! for miles around. This French developed range of face, body and skin treatments is a firm (yet supple) favourite with celebrities the world over – the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Teri Hatcher, Sharon Stone, George Clooney and Jude Law. Tried and tested over many years, Yon Ka blends essential oils and botanical extracts with high-tech laboratory know-how to help bring you, your skin and your body back to optimum.
Hardworking hands and feet are given suitable loving care with the aid of Jessica, the world's number 1 range of manicure products and Sixtus, the German program for healthy feet using the beneficial healing powers of Alpine herbs.
A little indulgence goes a long way
The atmosphere in Hello Gorgeous! is almost womb-like with the deepest sanguine as the salon signature colour everywhere and soft, soothing, ambient beats percolating the air. There is an unhurried timelessness about the place (for the customers at least). Its is all very well indulgent but then we all need and deserve a little "me" time. The busy Hello Gorgeous! staff of four includes no less than three qualified, beauty therapists. And as the salon grows a pace, it may well not be long before cries of hello Gorgeous! are heard on the street as Justine is looking to expand and acquire a street-front premises.
New clients can benefit from an introductory reduction while those embarking on a course of treatments can expect discounts between 10-20%. Not many will need much encouragement to remain loyal as voting for the national award attests.
